Last week!

On our last week we made pumpkin bread and put together recipe cards. The bread turned out really yummy. The kids weren't too fond of how the batter smelled from all the spices. But I think they decided it was going to be good when I told them we could put chocolate chips in it. I hope everyone enjoyed the class. Most of all I hope all these great kids will want to cook more often and have fun doing it! Can't wait for the next class in the Spring :)

Weeks 4 & 5

The last couple classes we have had fun making food and treats for the holidays! We've made mummy rolls, scary mouth-fulls, cupcakes, soup and pie cookies. The kids did a great job wrapping their mummies, shredding chicken for our soup, cutting out their pie crust leaves and much more. Courtlynn thought it was a good idea to wear her apron on her head. Funny girl... good thing her clothes didn't get dirty!
